The three directors of new generation learning have considerable experience as owners, managers, consultants and working on the front line of service led businesses. We saw an opportunity to look at the development of front line performance, attitude, and skills in a new and more operationally aware way. Traditional approaches often seemed hard work, time consuming, inefficient and divorced from the front line itself.
We believe that what we provide is a more effective model than those currently offered in the market. Development needs to be fun, but not glitz and gimmicks. It needs to be relevant, highly engaging and not death by PowerPoint or days trawling through manuals. The new generation learning approach is smart but straightforward. It is measured, leaves lasting change and builds capability into the organisation for future development.
We have recently entered into a joint venture with several leading names in the facilities management world to create The Asset Faculty. It brings together the talents of Martin Pickard of FM Guru, the leading independent provider of FM training services; Oliver Jones and Matthew Punshon of The Asset Factor, a Helical Bar company specialising in the management of corporate property portfolios and John Davis of FRL, a leading specialist provider of recruitment and HR services. They have joined with new generation learning to create a major new force in training and development for this sector.
